Make the world's messiest mission data AI-ready, with the provenance and classification that keep it defensible.

Most mission data is unstructured, fragmented, and trapped, documents, imagery, feeds, files no one can use. Data engineers at Torch.AI turn that into something AI and analysts can reason over, without losing the provenance and classification that make it trustworthy. If you think the data layer is where the real problem lives, you are right, and this is it.

What you would actually build

  • Unstructured to AI-ready, at scale. Pipelines that extract, normalize, tag, and enrich structured and unstructured data in real time, turning dormant stores into usable knowledge.
  • Reusable knowledge domains. Durable, domain-specific pipelines and enriched representations that turn a problem space into a reusable analytical object, used across missions.
  • Provenance and lineage that hold up. Data that carries where it came from and how it changed, so downstream reasoning is defensible and auditable.
  • Flows across classification. Move and enrich data across unclassified, secret, and higher environments under the controls that govern each.

Is this you?

You will thrive here if you:

  • Believe the hardest and most valuable problem is the data, not the dashboard.
  • Care about provenance, quality, and reuse, not just moving bytes.
  • Like making unusable data usable for people who need it for real decisions.
  • Hold or can hold a U.S. security clearance.

This may not be for you if: you want clean, pre-modeled data handed to you, you see data quality as someone else's problem, or you would rather stay far from how the data gets used.

The craft and the standards

Mission reasoning is only as good as the data under it, so we hold the data layer to a high bar: traceable lineage, enforced quality, and representations built for reuse. You will work with engineers who hold that bar and a customer who depends on it.

Security clearance

Many roles require an active U.S. security clearance; others are open to clearable U.S. persons, with sponsorship for the right engineer.
