Torch.AI Releases New Open-Source AI-Powered Data Orchestrator

Arlington, Va.

‍

‍A breakthrough in defense and national security technology is now available with Torch.AI’s launch of ORCUS, a government open source and off the shelf (GOTS), AI-driven data fusion platform designed to revolutionize real-time intelligence, cybersecurity, and mission-critical decision-making. This cutting-edge software is built specifically for government agencies, defense operations, and national security missions, enabling seamless integration, analysis, and protection of sensitive data across classified and unclassified environments.

‍

Battle proven through more than three dozen U.S. Department of Defense deployments supporting the most important mission critical capabilities at all echelons, ORCUS represents a true paradigm shift in how the government utilizes data to improve efficiency and maximize lethality.  As the DoD considers more than $14 billion in data related technology investments in 2025, ORCUS stands alone as a rapidly deployable, extensible, and future proof alternative to slow and complex custom development and ‘black box’ commercial solutions.

‍

ORCUS delivers real-time intelligence and operational resilience by allowing agencies to process massive volumes of data instantly. Military leaders, intelligence analysts, and cybersecurity teams can now access and analyze mission-critical information with unprecedented speed, improving situational awareness and decision-making across all domains—air, land, sea, space, and cyber. By leveraging AI-driven insights and federated queries, this system empowers national security professionals to anticipate threats, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure information dominance in rapidly evolving environments.

‍

The platform breaks down information silos by integrating structured and unstructured data from multiple classified and unclassified sources, including intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms, battlefield sensors, cyber threat intelligence, and classified databases. This capability provides a comprehensive operational picture for warfighters, intelligence officers, and cyber command teams. With the ability to scale seamlessly across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, the system is deployable in AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and DoD infrastructures.  ORCUS succeeds across a wide range including large cloud to tactical edge deployments including small form factor NUCs, all while maintaining strict compliance with federal security regulations.

‍

Security is at the core of this new technology, incorporating military-grade encryption with AES-256 for data at rest and TLS 1.3 with mutual authentication for data in transit. Built on a zero-trust architecture, it aligns with strict government compliance frameworks, including DoD Impact Levels 4 through 7 (IL4, IL5, IL6, IL7), CJIS, and NIST 800-53. AI-driven anomaly detection continuously monitors for cyber threats, ensuring rapid identification and mitigation of potential security breaches before they escalate. With fully automated cyber defense operations, ORCUS enhances resilience, providing a critical layer of protection against nation-state actors and emerging digital threats.

‍

Reliability and resilience are built into the platform, ensuring continuous operations even in contested or degraded environments. Automated failover mechanisms, geo-redundant backups, and real-time disaster recovery protocols maintain system uptime with minimal disruption. The platform supports continuous mission operations with near-zero downtime, providing defense agencies with the confidence that their intelligence systems will remain operational when they are needed most.

‍

Torch. AI's launch of ORCUS represents a major advancement in how the U.S. defense and intelligence communities manage mission-critical data. For warfighters in the field, the ability to access and share intelligence in real time reduces decision-making delays and enables rapid response to threats. Intelligence analysts benefit from automated data ingestion and predictive analytics, improving their ability to detect patterns and generate actionable insights. Cyber defense teams gain an unprecedented level of protection, with AI-powered monitoring that identifies and neutralizes cyber threats before they impact national security.

‍

"This technology is a game-changer for national security. ORCUS gives warfighters, targeters, analysts, and cyber defenders real-time, AI-enhanced intelligence, ensuring that mission-critical data is both secure and immediately actionable. It is the most advanced platform available for integrating and protecting classified government intelligence at scale."

‍

- Brad Kolarov, President of Torch.AI’s Tactical AI Division,

‍

Now fully operational, ORCUS is available for deployment across defense, intelligence, and homeland security agencies. Designed to enhance mission effectiveness and protect the nation's most critical data assets, this platform sets a new standard for secure, real-time intelligence operations.
